Our free resources are open to everyone, including students under 18 looking at apprenticeships, insight days and early placements. This note explains how we keep younger users safe. Our paid services (headshots, CV Review and LinkedIn Profile Development) are intended for people aged 18 and over.
If you're under 18, please don't buy a paid service without a parent or guardian's permission. If you need help, a parent or guardian can contact us at info@theentrypoint.uk and place the order on your behalf. If we find out an order was placed by someone under 18 without permission, we'll pause it, get in touch, and refund it where appropriate.
We don't knowingly accept headshot photos of anyone under 18 without written consent from a parent or guardian. Any photos we receive are used only to create the headshot, are never shared or used to train AI, and are deleted once the order is complete.
Our LinkedIn service asks customers to share their login details. We will never ask anyone under 18 for their login details, passwords or other account access.
We don't hold one-to-one calls with anyone under 18 unless a parent or guardian has agreed and is welcome to join. All contact with us happens through official channels (our business email and booked calls), never through personal social media or private messaging apps.
When someone under 18 signs up for our free tracker, we only collect their email address. We don't send marketing to anyone we know is under 16, and anyone can unsubscribe or ask us to delete their details at any time.
Our resources link to job boards and other websites we don't run. We pick well-known, reputable sites, but we're not responsible for their content. Young people should check opportunities with a parent, guardian, teacher or careers adviser, and never pay anyone to apply for a job.
If you're worried about the safety or wellbeing of a young person in connection with our services, email info@theentrypoint.uk and we'll respond promptly. If a child is in immediate danger, call 999. You can also contact Childline on 0800 1111 or the NSPCC on 0808 800 5000.
We review this note regularly and will update this page if anything changes.
