Refund and Complaints Policy

Last updated 23 October 2026.

Our promise

We're a small team of former placement students, and we want every customer to be happy with what they get. If something isn't right, tell us and we'll do our best to fix it quickly and fairly.

Which services this covers

This policy covers our paid services: Professional Headshot Generator (£5), CV Review (£10) and Full LinkedIn Profile Development (£40). Our free resources, including the application tracker, don't involve payment so refunds don't apply.

Your right to cancel

Under UK consumer law you normally have 14 days to cancel a service. Because our services start soon after you pay and send us your details, by submitting your photos, CV or booking a call you ask us to begin straight away. If you cancel before we've started work, you'll get a full refund. If we've already started, we may keep a fair amount for the work done.

When we'll give a refund

We'll offer a full refund if we don't deliver within the guaranteed turnaround, if we can't deliver the service for reasons on our side, or if you were charged by mistake or twice.

When we'll fix it first

If you're unhappy with the result (for example your headshot doesn't look right or your CV or LinkedIn feedback misses the mark), we'll first offer a revision free of charge. If we still can't get it right, we'll discuss a partial or full refund.

When refunds may not apply

We may not offer a refund once the finished work has been delivered and accepted, if the photos or information you sent weren't suitable (such as blurry photos) and you didn't send replacements, or for a change of mind after the work is complete.

How to ask for a refund

Email info@theentrypoint.uk with your order email address, the service you bought and a short note on what went wrong. Please get in touch within 14 days of receiving your order.

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds go back to the card you paid with through Stripe, usually within 5 to 10 working days depending on your bank.

Making a complaint

If you're unhappy with any part of our service, email info@theentrypoint.uk with the subject "Complaint". We'll reply within 2 working days to confirm we've received it, and aim to resolve it within 14 days. We'll keep you updated if it takes longer.

If you're still not happy

If we can't resolve your complaint, you can contact Citizens Advice (citizensadvice.org.uk, 0808 223 1133) for free, independent advice. This policy doesn't affect your statutory rights.
