The Entry Point is run by Finn Macaulay and Joshua Aaron, who act as the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at info@theentrypoint.uk.
When you use a paid service we collect your name, email address, target role or industry, and the material needed to deliver it: your CV (CV Review), your LinkedIn profile URL and content (LinkedIn Profile Development), or the photos you upload (Professional Headshot Generator). If you join our waitlist or email list we store your email address only. Downloading the free application tracker requires no personal data.
We use your data to deliver the service you paid for, to contact you about your order, and — only if you opt in — to send you occasional career tips or tell you when CV Review launches. Our lawful bases under UK GDPR are performance of a contract (for paid services) and consent (for marketing emails).
CVs, profile content and photos are kept in private storage that is not publicly accessible and can only be viewed by us. We keep them only for as long as we need to deliver your service and any included revisions, and then delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.
Some of our services use AI tools — for example, to help review your CV or to generate your headshot. Your material is only processed to produce your order and is not sold or shared for any other purpose.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
We do not sell your data. We only share it with the service providers we need to run The Entry Point (such as payment, storage and email providers), and only so they can do that job for us.
Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent to marketing at any time. Email info@theentrypoint.uk and we'll respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
